Prehistoric Internet Porn
The late 70s and early 80s saw the birth of ASCII pr0n—a type of erotic art comprised solely of letters, numbers, and punctuation marks. ASCII pr0n was conceived by programmers, software engineers, and other kinds of people you would bully in high school and it circulated through emails, newsletters, and secret directories. Simple to make and easy to replicate on any screen, it was internet porn at its purest—a form of sexual expression made by geeks for geeks. These days it stands as a symbol of a dark but glorious period in hacker culture.
Enjoy ;)
